KDE 4.8 正式发布了，带来了和活动整合的电源管理以及KWin的性能改进，同时包括Bug的修复。

KDE Telepathy 0.3 在早些时候也发布了， 同时也进入了KDE的Extragear，更新包括了之前的： http://www.ikde.org/program/kde-telepathy-0-3-support-msn/

状态Plasma小部件进行了重写和精简，现在样式类似Kopete的托盘。
