kio-klipper-kwrite

      Hello, being the author of ‘kio-clipboard’ I was somewhat surprised about the discussion here… Wish you would have posted these comments the the original page…

      Anyway: maybe one point should be clearified: kio-clipboard is NOT about sharing all locally copied items onto various public accessible clipboards! It does not work that way, so I dont see the risk to “leak” personal information, as “Ukyo like one” suggested. The automatic appearance of all ‘klipper’ entries inside ‘kio-clipboard’ is somewhat special, as it is a local (private) access. For remote clipboards, all it offers is to access a remote (and maybe public) clipboard in an explicit manner, to publish an item by purpose. That would be a normal copy method like dragging an item from the local file system to, say, a remote sftp site. The whole idea is to use the “normal” and intuitive file management actions instead of having to acces each clipboard in a different manner.

      @arkascha the comments below Ukyo are just a bad joke: a boss copyed something at home and then paste it in office。
